At Heartwood Home Exteriors, we spend every day helping Pacific Northwest families protect and beautify their homes. That work reminds us daily how much a safe, dry, solid structure means to a family's health, dignity, and future.
That's why we're proud to put our resources and passion behind Homes for Hope an organization that mobilizes businesses like ours to build life-changing homes for impoverished families in Mexico.
These aren't just shelters. Each home comes with a rainwater-catching and filtration system often the first reliable source of clean water a family has ever had.

Who is Homes for Hope?
Homes for Hope is a nonprofit that partners with businesses and volunteers to construct simple, sturdy homes for families living in extreme poverty primarily in Mexico. What started as one home built by one company has grown into a global movement of thousands of homes and lives transformed.
Their model is powerful in its simplicity: a team of volunteers, a few days of work, and roughly $3,500 in materials creates a home that will shelter a family for decades. Every build includes a water-catchment system, turning rain into clean, filtered drinking water.
